PB&J Fridays

Last year, when I moved to Florida, Mr. J and I made a decision to volunteer more within our community.  While we thought of ways to help around town, we quickly noticed that the homeless population in the city exploded as the economy continued to tank.  We wanted to help and found a group that hands out food to the homeless once a week.

Saving the Soul Street Ministries is a very small organization that is completely funded and operated by volunteers.  We are happy to help them every week, even if it's just making peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.  I make the PB&Js and Mr. J hands them out to the homeless.

If you are interested in helping us in Tampa, please email me at vitaamoreriso at gmail dot com.
