The Randomness in My Life

Did I ever mention yet that my stress levels are shooting up by the second? Lol.

So yeah, I am just going to show pics of what I have coming up. Yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Did you hear that? It was my maniacal laugh).

1. GMAT on Thursday:

2. Lots of running around for the Silent Auction and then a committee meeting on Friday.

3. Drive down to Miami and hop on our family cruise (Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!):

4. Wrap up everything I need to do for the Silent Auction, held on Saturday, April 10th. Cool poster, huh? One of the members of the Advisory board created the design and I am in love with it.
5. My 10 year high school reunion at the end of April, which coincides with the school's 100 year celebration. Man, I can't believe it's been a decade already. Where has the time gone?
6. Mr. J's big 30th birthday bash. Can't wait!

7. Our friends' wedding (Mr. J is a groomsman):
8. London/Amsterdam/Paris in July (hopefully):
9. Friends' wedding in El Paso, TX (Mr. J is the best man, I am a bridesmaid):

There is plenty more to list, but this post is already long enough. Anyway, I can't wait to post pics from all of these events.

Unproductive insomniac

For the life of me, I could not understand why I couldn't fall asleep at all last night. I stayed up until 5am, accomplishing nothing more than the creation of this blog. That's really unfortunate since I have loads of clean laundry to fold AND dirty loads to wash, dry and then fold. Lovely, right? Anyway, I noticed that the nights I can't sleep coincide with the days when I miss a day in the gym. That just means I need to hit the gym every day now (crossing my fingers I do it).

I am stressed about everything, from my unsuccessful job search, to my lack of will power to really focus and study for the GMAT as much as I know I can, to the upcoming Silent Auction that I chair and need to coordinate. Did I mention that I am taking the GMAT this coming Thursday? I am also leaving for a family cruise two days later. Hopefully, the procrastinator in me will also wake up the productive side and I will get a lot accomplished in the next 5 days before the cruise.

Wish me luck!

Life, Love, & Laughter

Greetings blog world!

This is my umpteenth attempt at maintaining a blog, but I am looking forward to starting fresh and sharing life experiences with the world.

My husband and I are high school sweethearts. We met back in 1999 but we didn't get married until May 31, 2008 :-) It's been almost two years since our wedding but I still consider us newlyweds since we spent the first year of our marriage living in different states. You see, my husband (whom I will refer to as Mr. J from now on) moved to FL from NY for a wonderful job opportunity back in 2007. It took me two years to follow him, mainly due to the wedding. It was much easier to plan for a CT wedding while in NY vs FL.

Anyway, we don't have any children yet but we do have a cool kitty named Frankie Q.

He's such a handsome boy! lol.

When I moved to FL a year ago (almost to the day), I had to quit my job. I did some contract jobs but have yet to find full time employment since then. So, I am a stay at home wife who tries to stay busy with lots of random activities. Stay tuned as I recount them all!
